Application Description
The Adnan Quran teacher app, a free offline application, now offers the complete Noble Quran. Boasting over 10,000,000 child users, this interactive app helps children learn and memorize the Quran, the Arabic alphabet, and over 12 supplications and Hadiths. Awarded numerous prestigious prizes (including the King Khalid Prize 2021 and Huawei's Shining Star 2020 award), Adnan is designed for children aged 3-12 and aligns with Saudi Arabian and Gulf state school curricula. The Quran text is the digitally approved version from the King Fahd Printing Press Complex, and the app was reviewed in partnership with the Maknoon Association.
Version 10.3.0 (updated August 19, 2024) includes over 15 new features:
- Complete Noble Quran (30 chapters)
- Child-friendly control panel
- 114 unique background images for each Surah
- 6 engaging stages with electronic games
- Enhanced repetition feature (verse/clip repetition, 1-20 repetitions)
- Encouraging effects and reward points (stars)
- Personalized user profiles and progress tracking
- Percentage-based progress indicators for each Surah
- Bonus points for repetition
- 3 color-coded selection options
- Quick verse navigation
- User achievement leaderboard
- Surah-specific progress indicators
The app works offline; six parts download automatically, while longer Surahs download on demand. The app's design fosters a love of Quran learning through diverse backgrounds, verse repetition (featuring Sheikh Al-Minshawi and a child's voice), and other innovative features.
