The app features diverse scanwords—ranging from beginner-friendly to challenging, with photo clues, traditional questions, or associative hints like "one word" or Elder Futhark-inspired prompts. Each issue includes an English-Russian puzzle and a perforated variant (you’ll quickly grasp its name). Meet our playful mascot family on every page—join the fun!

Every scanword is completely free. This annual collection delivers 52-53 issues weekly, each containing 20 puzzles. A full year’s set occupies just 50MB—optimized with compact images and text to save your phone’s storage.

Solve puzzles offline once downloaded. New issues release every Friday. With notifications enabled, receive weekly Friday alerts at 12:00 local time. The app auto-downloads new issues seamlessly, while manual controls let you manage individual downloads or bulk actions via Settings.

Core features—including unlimited scanwords—remain free, supported by discreet ads: one narrow banner per page plus optional interstitial ads before puzzles. Advertisers never disrupt gameplay and even reward players with free hints for watching sponsored content.

Readers may optionally disable ads permanently, subscribe for ad-free access with unlimited hints, or purchase hint bundles—all available in the Shop section.
